How To: Upgrade the Cloud Services Appliance From 4.3 to 4.4

Description

Announcing the release of the 4.4 Cloud Services Appliance.  There are two documents listed below that will cover the physical. The CSA Upgrade 4.3 will walk you through upgrading a physical appliance from 4.3 to 4.4. The CSA VM installation of 4.4 document will walk you through performing the side by side install of the new 4.4 CSA.

Pre-Requisites:

• Validate Cloud Services Appliance for upgrade (Must be a Physical Cloud Services Appliance with RAID or a virtual machine running 4.3)
• vCSA 4.4 download is available through the VM upgrade link below and here
• If this is an upgrade for a physical CSA, they will need to fill out the following form to request a USB stick via mail. Caution: This will flash their operating system they will want to back up their data.

• ESXi 6.x server (for the vCSA) with the following resources available:

- CPU - 2 Processors

- Memory - 8GB RAM

- Storage - 50GB

- Network - 2 1GB NIC
