Inventory/Vulscans Fail through CSA

Problem:

Broker config says certificate downloaded successfully, but Inventory and Vulscan error out. Inventory/Vulscans fail after side-by-side Core migrations. Core is pushing out old certs to the CSA. The broker config client will get error certificate mismatch error.

Resolution:

On the CSA: remove the Core certs and the LDMG certs. Reboot the CSA.

On the client side: move the old core .0 file out of the c:\program files (x86)\landesk\shared files\cbaroot\certs location. DO NOT DELETE the file, just move it somewhere else in case it's needed in the future.

On the core side: move the old core .0 file out of c:\program files\landesk\shared files\keys and InstallDirectory(Install directory for 9.6 Program Files, install directory for 9.5 is Program Files (x86)\ManagementSuite\ldlogon locations. DO NOT DELETE the file, just move it somewhere else in case it's needed in the future.

Login to LDMS on the core. Go to the Configure in the menu bar. Select Manage Cloud Service Appliance. Select your CSA and click Edit. Then click Apply (no changes need to be made). You should now see the current core name in the Core Certificate box. Click Close.

Login to the CSA and verify the Core cert is populating in the core certificates tab.

Login to the client and run the broker config tool again. Get a new certificate. Once this completes, Inventory and vulscan should now work.
